Do I need prior building experience?
No. Gablok is designed for self-builders with limited or no prior experience. We provide detailed instructions and support throughout.
What tools do I need?
A ladder, a drill/screwdriver, and safety equipment. No heavy specialist machinery is required for the shell.
Can I build in the UK?
As of 1 December 2025, Gablok Build LTD recieved system approval for building regulations in the UK. This was granted by Inspectorate Stroma BC.
How is it transported?
We arrange delivery to your site. Blocks are flat-packed and designed to maximise space in transport, reducing cost and waste.
Can I get local support?
Yes — for UK builds, we can help you connect with local skilled labour, architects, and tradespeople who are comfortable working with modular timber structures.
How energy efficient is a Gablok building?
Very — the blocks have been tested for energy performance, and the system supports excellent insulation, helping minimise running costs.
Can I buy Gablok from other suppliers?
Gablok Build LTD are the sole Uk distributor of the Gablok System. We will shortly manufacture under licence.
